UNLOCKING THE AGE WELL SECRET OF FRANKINCENSE
We use the world’s first certified organic Boswellia sacra frankincense from Oman in our Frankincense Intense™ Lift collection. Sustainably sourced from the resin of the Boswellia sacra trees that grow wild in the Dhofar region of Oman, the cultural home of the finest frankincense, the precious resin is collected, sorted and distilled to extract the pure essential oil, leaving behind a by-product.
We decided to look into the properties of this by-product and joined forces with a university research centre in Italy who carried out a patented enzymatic process to exploit its full potential. The process transformed the by-product into an exclusive active ingredient – Frankincense Active Phyto Complex.
By utilizing the by-product, we’ve made the whole process even more sustainable. Extensive studies on Frankincense Active Phyto Complex, which contains boswellic acid and polyphenols, show it has a profound antioxidant effect.
